After completing Medical School at The University of the West Indies, Dr Vaughan successfully completed his DM and went on to further specialty training in Orthopedics at Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry, Shropshire UK, YsbytyGlanClwyd, Bodelwydden, North Wales.
Subsequent fellowship training at the University of Liverpool
has cemented his expertise in Orthopaedics.

Contributing to his scholarship is his publication of papers in peer-reviewed journals which contributes to his standing as Programme Director: DM Orthopaedic Surgery UWI Mona Examiner: MB BS Surgery
Member of the Specialty Board in Surgery
Dr Vaughan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a member of Jamaican Orthopaedic Association, Caribbean Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeon Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
